Have you noticed that The Hub has turned purple? We have lit the building up purple in honour of World Polio Day on 24th October.
We do a lot of work with our local Rotary Club and this year we are supporting their Crocus Appeal. Pop in to The Hub to buy your crocus or make a donation.
Polio kills and paralyses young children. It spreads like wildfire and there is no cure. However it can be easily prevented through immunisation. The colour purple is like the dye on the fingers of children to show that they have been immunised. Thanks to the work of the Rotary and others today the world stands on the brink of eradication. We need your support to help reach this goal.
